Dear Managers

I have a data CD which I have inserted into the Sun CD ROM drive on my
Sparc Solaris 2.6 machine. The CD may be in the multisession format.
Vold mounts the CD under /cdrom/adriancopy and has several
subdirectories. Here is a little transcript of my attempt to access
the file I want in one of the subdirectories:

$ cd /cdrom/adriancopy/p01
$ ls -al
./rt01.dat: Invalid argument <<<<<<---- WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN???
total 11
dr-xr-xr-x   2 root     sys         2048 May 26 15:07 .
dr-xr-xr-x   2 root     sys         2048 Jan  1  1970 ..
-r-xr-xr-x   1 root     sys          185 Jan 27 11:26 01.asc
-r-xr-xr-x   1 root     sys          101 Jan 27 11:07 01_mark.asc
-r-xr-xr-x   1 root     sys          186 Jan 27 11:25 01_rsp.asc
$ ls -l rt01.dat
rt01.dat: Invalid argument
$

Similar results are experienced in the other subdirectories. Does
anyone know why I get this behaviour? Is there any known cure?

Many thanks for any help.
