Subject:    solaris 7 won't boot after patch

We applied new Solaris 7 recommended patch cluster on
a Ultra10 then reboot.

System won't boot!  

INIT: Cannot create /var/adm/utmp or /var/adm/utmpx
INIT: failed write of utmpx entry: "  "
INIT: failed write of utmpx entry: "  "
INIT: SINGLE USER MODE
ENTER RUN LEVEL (0-6, s or S):

No matter what I input, s, S, 0-6, I couldn't get
the prompt.

I boot from CD then mount root partition and check it.
It looks like everything is fine, both files are exist.

Any idea what's wrong?
