Hi Gurus

I want to move my workstation to dead network without change my
configuration files.

When I do this I get some problems with DNS in Solaris 5.8. To resolve this
problem I use the options: options retrans:2 retry:1 in /etc/resolv.conf

This work just fine in Solaris 5.8

My problem is that in Solaris 5.5.1 This options are not available in
/etc/resolv.conf. How can I pass this problem ?

Any ideas would be appreciated .
