I have a requirement to bring up my SAN boot....

steps followed:-

Installed the GNU GRUB bootloader on the boot device with
 /c3t0d0s0----SAN device

            /usr/sbin/installgrub /boot/grub/stage1 /boot/grub/stage2
/dev/rdsk/c3t0d0s0
 /c0t0d0s0---Hard disk

1) At a prompt, type mount /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 /mnt to mount the proposed
root partition.

2) Use the ufsdump command to create the required directory structure
on the new Symmetrix device and copy the necessary files/directories from
the internal root partition.

e.g.
# ufsdump 0f - /dev/dsk/c0t0d0s0 |( cd /mnt; ufsrestore rf - )

After copying all the partitions(hard disk)

I have configured my qlogic BIOS to select the bootable device... configured
etc/system and etc/vfstab for tthe new device...

SAN device set first in the system bios.....

And yet it is not booting from the SAN... It boots from the hard disk which
is second in the boot sequence....

Kindly help me in bringing up my SAN OS......
