Hi All,

I am hitting an issue whereby I have a root zpool which I want to boot
from. Below is the entry from my menu.lst

#---------- ADDED BY BOOTADM - DO NOT EDIT ----------
title Solaris 10 5/09 s10x_u7wos_08 X86
findroot (pool_rpool,0,a)
kernel$ /platform/i86pc/multiboot -B $ZFS-BOOTFS
module /platform/i86pc/boot_archive
#---------------------END BOOTADM--------------------

All seems fine, but I want to also pass through the options
acpi-user-options=0 -v as well (it's a X4150 and if I use a UFS root
filesystem this appended works fine).

However if I do the menu.lst option as

#---------- ADDED BY BOOTADM - DO NOT EDIT ----------
title Solaris 10 5/09 s10x_u7wos_08 X86
findroot (pool_rpool,0,a)
kernel$ /platform/i86pc/multiboot -B $ZFS-BOOTFS acpi-user-options=0 -v
module /platform/i86pc/boot_archive
#---------------------END BOOTADM--------------------

I get the error message that acpi-user-options=0 is not loadable.

I've tried various means to get this to work, changing orders but to no avail.

Has anyone seen issues like this before and did they manage to get to
a resolution?

I will of course summarise.

Thanks in advance,

Iain
