As mentioned before I use TortoiseSVN and the screenshot reflects this. But I'm
reporting this issue here as I doubt it to be a TortoiseSVN issue...

I also reported this for v1.6.x as I'm sure this problem did occur with that
version (albeit not everytime I did perform a merge). I think I've had it with
v1.7.x as well, but I can not say so with absolute certainty at this time.

Low priority, because one can easily work around this issue. But it would still
be nice to see it correctly handled by subversion.
