It seems that no developers are working on it. In the mean time, you can still
use my svnwrapper script: http://www.vinc17.net/unix/svnwrapper.sh
You can use it as an alias for "svn". You just need to adapt the error message
if you have localized messages.

Note that this script would probably not help to fix the bug in a clean way.
However it seems that unless one wants to fully reimplement the svn client, a
wrapper with various extensions/corrections may be the way to go anyway.
