Sorry Mike,

Mark disabused me of my misunderstanding on dev.  I was caught up in
reviewing the r32142, r32187 group and started to see problems where
there were none :-(

Also, I didn't update my issue page before submitting
http://subversion.tigris.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3235#desc8 so it
"crossed in the mail".  Regardless, there still seems to be a real
problem in desc8.  I can enter a new issue, but leaving it in "'log
-g' merge determination logic faulty" seems logical.
