+ Currently, the first two tests in basic_tests.py pass and then the third
+ fails; probably there are a lot more adjustments that need to be made
+ for everything to work over DAV as well as local.  Ben has already done

+ No idea why the python tests weren't working pre-M3.

+ But, now that we're a week past M3, Mike figured out how to make
+ the python test run over DAV:  simply pass --username and --password
+ to the import and checkout commands.  (Added in revision 74.)
+ 
+ So now the tests are running over DAV;  any bugs we find as a result
+ will be filed separately.  Closing this meta-issue.
