Thanks for your interest.  We generally can't afford to tailor
subprojects to individuals -- we depend on individuals tailoring
themselves to Subversion :-), by looking over what's in the issue
tracker and web pages.  A good place to start is

   http://subversion.tigris.org/project_tasks.html

Even though Subversion isn't very large-scale, if you've not used it
before, it would probably be difficult to ramp up quickly as a
developer.  (I couldn't tell from your mail if you have or haven't
used it.)  That might be something to keep in mind,
