The initialization parameters accepted by the Struts controller servlet are
documented in the Javadocs of the
corresponding class (org.apache.struts.action.ActionServlet).  They are in the
lengthy commentary at the top of the
class description.

The DTD file has *extensive* comments about what attributes are available, and
what they mean.  You should really
start there.

An updated user's guide (that conform's to Struts 1.0) is badly needed -- any
good technical writers out there that
might be able to help?
