Nimmi,
I removed the other app, but no luck.  Eventually, I deleted the example
app, reinstalled my own application, and after some trial and error, moved
the ApplicationResources.properties file to the classes root directory and
changed the init parm to point to it there.  It worked!? Odd that it can
find the file ok there but not when the parm points to the app subdirectory.
At least I have the app I'm working on functioning now.  I don't think I'll
press my luck by trying to reinstall the example app :-)
