The default Diffie-Hellman group for IKE is

-1536 bits (group 5)  for strongswan-2.x

-2048 bits (group 14) for strongswan-4.x

The default encryption algorithm for IKE is

- 3DES with 168 bit key for strongswan-2.x

- AES with 128 bit key for strongswan-4.x
