Subject: [SSI-devel] Errata in INSTALL.pxe

For those who want to use PXE to boot dependent nodes, there are errors
in INSTALL.pxe. There are extraneous D's caused by an error I made
exporting these instructions from my e-mail program (Scott Hinchley
originally wrote and posted them to ssic-linux-devel). Attached is a patch.

Once these are in place then the dhcpd.conf needs to be modified, if all

+nodes are going to use PXE then just modify the "filename=/vmlinuz;"
+line to "filename=/pxelinux.0;" in Section 2. The only issue here is
that anytime 'cluster_mkinitrd' is run, it will overwrite dhcpd.conf.
Again if all nodes use PXE then you can modify /sbin/mkdhcpd.conf the
-'filename=\"/vmlinuz\";' line to 'filename=\"/pxelinux.0\";'.
+'filename=\"/vmlinuz\";' line to 'filename=\"/pxelinux.0\";'.
The other way to go is copy your current dhcpd.conf to dhcpd.proto (this
file gets copied to the start of dhcpd.conf), and modify the "filename"
