So I believed the Debian package configuration would use PAM, since
Debian is fairly renown for it, but I'm no longer so sure.

Johan mentioned authpam but, yet again, I'm not seeing any such
configfile.  This is pretty typical for me.  Package maintainers
often don't tell you where stuff is, or how their specific
implmementation is arranged.  If I was already a sqwebmail user, I
probably wouldn't have any problems figuring the package out.  Does
anyone have a nudge?


1.  I'm beginning to doubt my assertion that sqwebmail is using
    PAM authentication.
2.  Assuming I'm confident in 1, I'm not sure where I'll need
    to go to reconfigure the Maildir location.
