How did you install PHP? Using the install wizard or manually?

I had a similar problem when I used the install Wizard. It would log me
in, but then when it loaded the frameset, it would give me an error on
the right_main.php (or main_right) file

I uninstalled PHP and installed it manually and had no problems. (quite
easy)

In the php.ini file I had to make some adjustments:

session.save_path = c:\tmp\
extension_dir = "C:\php\extensions\"
session.bug_compat_42 = 1
session.bug_compat_warn = 0
register_globals = On

I am using a mail server named MERAK (http://www.merakmail.com)

We tried to get SM 1.4.0 to work on Win2k IIS with PHP 4.3.2 but it will

only allow me to login if my user has no password (blank password). Any
user 
that tries to login with a password, I get "unknown username..." each
time. 
Did you have any trouble with something like this? And, what type of
IMAP 
server are you running? We've tried two... Gordano and Mercury32... both

give me unknown password errors in their own logs.
