That is most unusual.  Is sendmail actually on that box?  I'm slightly
confused as to the reason you get the error.  I've not seen it behave like
that, or even cut up a string like that.  Well... technically I have, but
that was on psoted values from forms, and that was only the first 4
characters.  This appears to have cut 9 characters off of the front.  I
cannot remember if I asked, what PHP/Apache are you using?

Okay... is there any mail in that folder?  Is there anything different to
that folder than the others?

SquirrelMail isn't something that requires compiling, so you are okay
there.  SquirrelMail is just a bunch of web scripts that your webserver
compiles using the PHP engine.
