If I remember correctly, didn't I mention I was going to put it into 1.4.1?
 Either that, or I was thinking that, and never posted.  It wouldn't
surprise me if it was the later.  The only thing I fear in the case of that
hook (and the method you wanted it called) is that if the author of the
plugin forgets that on failure, they should return $param instead of False,
it'll probably result in the destroying of data accidentally.  Although
thinking about it, either way, it could probably result in some nastyness,
unless you just do it as:

do_hook( 'sqimap_mailbox_list_additional');

That way if nothing is messing with $read_ary, then you should be okay with
typos in functions... then in the plugin, you can just called global
$read_ary in the plugin in that hook code.  Although I'm not sure if that'd
be as effective, but might be just a little safer... no?
