The GPG Plugin team is happy to announce the availability of release
candidate 1 of GPG Plugin version 2.0.

The GPG Plugin allows you you encrypt, decrypt and sign messages from the
comfort of the Squirrelmail interface. Version 1.1 of the plugin is in use
worldwide.

The GPG Plugin 2.0rc1 tarball is available at:
http://www.braverock.com/gpg/gpg.2.0rc1-1.4.2.tar.gz

Please test this release candidate and report back.  The plugin team feels
that this product is ready for release, but we would like to send it
through the ringer at least once with the community of SM ealry adopters.

Since the release of version 1.1 of the plugin, the code base has almost
doubled in size.  It has been undergoing continuous development for over a
year with a dedicated team, and is quite stable.

Multiple new features have been added, including:
 - localization/translation/i18n support using gettext
 - Key Generation
 - Multiple enhancements to Decryption support
 - Encrypt&Sign Functionality
 - Encrypt Attachments
 - Encrypt on Send, Sign on Send and Encrypt&Sign on Send
 - Keyring Management
 - Import Keys from email
 - Export Keys to email
 - Generated/Exported keys are not PGP compatible
 - Re-Enabled and Enhanced Shared System Keyring Functionality
 - Detached Signature Support
 - Major improvements to help and documentation
 - The usual Bug fixes and minor Enhancements
