I have added a print of *r and ctrl to the bug report. If more is needed,
please ask.

All the asserts that I have checked seems to be the same user and site
and the same files. The user does get and put many others on the same
site without a problem though. Looking on the ftp site, the failed
files do exist, but they are zero in length.
