dear sir

I am going to do some master degree project for my graduate (last
subject in master) I desire
to do bandwidth shaping (by use username/password) on squid would you
please suggest me

1.how I can start (I can't find which module do this function)
2.and what algorithm (can you send flowchart to me ) of method
that squid used to do this feature ,I saw that squid lastest version
can do bandwidth shaping by use range of IP Address
but my project may be want to change or try to use another
algorithm and integrate with
                    user Authentication

thanks in advance for your help ,because I'm a little bit familier with
network programming ,but I think
I can do it with hard work :)
