You can't install stuff off the tadpole solaris 1.x CD. :)  Unless I
remember wrong, Solaris 1.x is really SunOS 4.1.x... so it's a totally
different OS in any case.  You normally wouldn't be able to use drivers
from Solaris 2.5.1 under 2.6, etc. either.


All the TAD 2.6 stuff is non-gui. TADman is indeed manual pages, but you'd
need to know the name of the man page to use them.  i.e. man fbconfig,
etc...

The main benefit there is that X will work, your mouse will work, your
power management will work.
