It's on the processor board, so if you have an SM40 / SM50 (no cache), you
are
out of luck.  SMXY boards, where Y > 0, have the cache built-in.

Well, if you really want cheap speed, get an x86 box.  But if you are just
having
fun with it and don't mind spending some money, look for SM51s on ebay or
something.  Also you can get Ross processors up to 150 MHz but those are
just
rediculously expensive.
