[PT] I think you mean 2048 byte blocks for other
CD-ROMs. I remember reading this in the Sun
CD-ROM FAQ. Never tried it yet, but I wonder if
a Sun CD-ROM (with 512 byte block mode
enabled) would work on a PC SCSI card? I'll have
to try one night when I get home. ;-)
