hi

I am trying to install Spamassassin 2.53 on a Linux system (2.2.14-5.0
kernel). 

During the test phase, the system hangs and the message I see on the
screen is "t/spamd......", I don't see any panic messages in
/var/log/messages

Do I need to upgrade the kernel first?
