I'm not sure what you are saying here. The wording suggests that "the original"
is a single email which you can retest. Your comment about encoding suggests
that "the copy" may then be rendered text from an email client.

If that's correct then, try testing it like this:

  spamassassin -D 2>&1  < original  | grep 'rule FUZZY_WALLET'
