Hi Spacewalkers,

We are randomly seeing the following error from clients talking to a
spacewalk proxy server

STDERR: http://<FQDN>/ks/dist/child/epel6-centos6-x86_64_6.6/centos6-x86_64_6.6/repodata/filelists.xml.gz:
[Errno -1] Metadata file does not match checksum

When we stop the rhn-proxy services, purge the squid cache, then start the
rhn-proxy services the error goes away.

We have also tried running WGET hourly on the Spacewalk Proxy to grab the
repodata files for CentOS Updates and EPEL so it's fresh in the Squid
Cache, this doesn't seem to help with regards to the Metadata Checksum
though.

The Spacewalk Master and Proxy servers are running CentOS 6.10 and
Spacewalk 2.5

Is this more of a yum issue or something with Spacewalk Master/Proxy

thanks for any pointers

Andy
