Sorry for the late answer.
JIRA ticket was created for this need :
https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SONAR-5639
The authentication mechanism is going to be refactored to drop JRuby on
Rails stack. For this reason your PR won't be applied as this right now,
but will still be valuable for implementing the feature.
