Hi there!

I'm trying to use Sonar to measure coverage for UI interoperability
tests on a Java project. We generate these tests for JUnit, and
consume a Surefire report with the results.

The problem is that these tests are automatically generated, and if we
try to just import the Surefire XML report by adding it manually to
target/surefire-reports, Sonar complains that the test method sources
aren't found in the project and no history or measures are added.

So, my questions would be:

1. Is it possible to import a Surefire XML report and have Sonar
ignore the fact that the actual tests aren't there? I know this is
possible in Eclipse, for example.

2. Is it possible to import these reports in a phase separate to the
regular unit testing? Since these UI tests take a very long time to
complete, ideally we'd not want to block developers from knowing the
results of their analysis if they only care about unit tests and code
quality rules.

Many thanks in advance,
Rodrigo L=C3=B3pez Dato
