Hi there,

we upgraded Solr from 8.3.1 to 8.10.1.
The configset was uploaded in 8.3.1 in untrusted mode without Authentication.
In Solr 8.10.1 there's the following limitation that applies to our configset:

  * Collections won't initialize if <lib> directives are used in the configset. \
(Note: Libraries added to Solr's classpath don't need the <lib> directive) Thus, the \
collections won't initialize anymore after the upgrade until the configset is deleted \
and re-uploaded with Authentication. During this process the collections and hence \
all index data is lost.

Is there any way to keep the existing index data after the upgrade without having to \
re-index everything?

Any help is highly appreciated.

Thanks and best regards,
Jano Schuster
