Thanks for the reply Kim. I had 4.5 running fine on my net5501-60, and had
tried a few flavours of BIOS with no luck.
It turns out that the difference between the two appears to be the use of a
higher speed flash card on the -70. The -60 has a slower flash which
doesn't seem to cause any glaring problems, but the faster flash card I have
on the -70 appears to be the cause of the CRC errors with the SATA drive on
the same channel.
I've removed the flash card altogether, and things are looking fine now.
