Hi,

I am installing snort on windows as service.I am facing few problems.
First let me describe my env.
OS Win2k
Snort 2.1.2

Snort is running perferctly when i start it via command line.

Now when i install it as service via this command
C:\Snort\bin>snort /SERVICE /INSTALL
or
C:\Snort\bin>snort /SERVICE /INSTALL -v
 it gets installed and when i run service it gets started.

Now the problem arises here
C:\Snort\bin>snort /SERVICE /INSTALL -c c:\snort\bin\snort.conf

It gets installed but when i start the service it gives me error
"The process terminated unexpectedly"

Need ur assistance.
