Marc, is this exception in the log?  I just checked the relevant code, and
it's within a try/catch (Exception), where the exception is logged if any
exception is thrown, including IOException.

This can happen if the TCP stream is closed unexpectedly by the other
side in the middle of trying to write to it on the server side.  This
situation can be demonstrated easily by pressing ESC or something while
loading a page, or by reloading a page very quickly, thus stopping current
requests.
