Well... its sad to see that bugs are reported when the functions don't do
what we want instead of understanding the function itself and its use.

The {strip} function is to be used inside the <body> tag to help designers
in cases where a break line, etc... could damage the layout of the page (as
can be read on the Documentation). So, if its made to work that way its not
meant to work with other code formats (as <?xml, <? alone, etc...).

The functions works fine, the problem is that the application of the
function by some is not the one intended. Of course, the function can be
improved (not corrected since it works fine) to be able to be used under
other circunstances (XML files for once).

Best regards,
Miguel Simões
