Sorry, wrong info. I forgot to check the disk identity first.

The ST9300605SS is actually a SAS drive. SCSI/SAS drives do not support 
ATA/SATA SMART attributes.
SCSI and ATA standards differ considerably and so do the corresponding 
outputs of smartctl.
