Here's the follow-up:
Seems like my disk is dying, as the reallocated sectors increase and the
errors logged (see attached file)
The disk has 4 months of light usage, should still be covered by warranty.
Should I RMA it ?
Is it me, or hard disk quality has been lowered with the increasing capacity
size?
A workmate has seen die 2 SAMSUNG hard disks in one week of purchase, both
500gb in size
At work I've seen die a lot of WD5001ABYS and WD5002ABYS, both models
supossed to be enterprise-level quality, but again failing in the 6-12
months range.
I'm the only one suffering this?
Thanks.
Javier
