Hi,
I am quite new to slash and have been having a problem.
I am trying to set up a tabbed menu system that is horizontally
displayed. As users click each menu tab a new page (Section) is
displayed and the tabs change color..(Sub menu changes as well)
I initially got the tab setup working correctly using the
user.currentSection variable from within the header template.however..I
have since tried to get various search pages working per section and I
added a Classifieds page also which has caused my menu to consistently
defaults to index.(user.currentSection = index).
So what I decided to do was to attempt to add an additional form
variable to the end of the url.called menu then in index.pl catch this
variable with $form->{menu} and then pass it on to the header template.
Here is where I run into trouble .the header template is called through
Anchor.pm which, when I look at the header function (in Anchor.pm) the
write up on it says that I should be able to pass a hash ref into the
function using title.with the condition that title be a key in the hash
being passed.I can pass the hash in and the title works fine.but I am
not sure how to access the new variables that I have passed in.(I am
also new to perl as well.but learning)
If anybody has any idea how I may accomplish this or perhaps another
method of approach..I would be very grateful.
