I ran into the very same problem... We worked around it by modifying the
initrd in /tftpboot to use only the nic we wanted...

Subject: [Sisuite-users] question about systems with multiple NICs
Reply-To: sisuite-users@lists.sourceforge.net

Here's the deal - I have a system with 2 nics, eth0 and eth1. I've set
up my dhcp server to serve '192' addresses to requests from eth0. When
I boot a machine, it requests and gets an address for eth0 which it then

uses to download pxelinux. Shortly thereafter the machine I'm trying to

install on issues dhcp requests on eth1, eth0 and lo in that order! The

problem is the eth1 nic is on our corporate nework and I don't want it
to be active. What's happening is a corporate dhcp server is responding

to the request before my local dhcp server and so the client tries to
load it's boel image from the corporate server which naturally fails.

Is there a way to disable the client from trying to bring up interface
eth1? seems to me this would solve my problem.

-mark
