I just got a set of 16 DL360s (these are 3GHz IA32 Boxes) and it seemed
like the perfect environment to get SI going, especially since I've
already gotten things going very smoothly on a different set of boxes,
 Wrong (as the mkdhcserver script says) 8-)

The first problem I found and kludged is the locaction of AppConfig.pm.
 It gets installed in the 5.6.1 branch of the perl tree and after the
system images downloads to the target it blows up because it's running
perl 5.8 and can't find the pm. I manually moved it to the right place
in the tree and then things were happy, but I'm not sure why my other SI
installation ever worked because I don't remember moving it. Does some
SystemImager script to that and I ran it out of order?

Anyhow, that done the next thing that happened in the client again blew
up, but this time in a different place. These systems are configured
with a Smart Array Controller and so the disks names look different and
I'm wondering if this may in any way be related to the problem?!?

for example, here's what 'df' shows:

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/cciss/c0d1p1     70009904   1533384  64920192   3% /
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1        98747     24464     69184  27% /boot

The actually text I see on the target's console right after the
successful file transfer, and this is hand typed so there may be a
mistake here or there is;

$VAR={};

end_request: I/O error, dev 02:00 (floppy), sector 0

it's soooo close to working and this is so frustrating... I'm going to
try inserting some debugging code into the scritps to try and track this
down, but if anyone knows what's going on it would certainly save me a
lot of work.
