Version 3.0.1-4 fixes the mkautoinstalldiskette problem, of which is 
available at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=259

(I had the same problem regarding disk space that you did.)

You may want to include a custom local.cfg file on the disk as well.  
Specifics for that file are mentioned in the site documentation.  Of which 
is located at

Just search for the word local and you'll see.  Good luck, I use RedHat 9.0 
on Pentium II machines and am quite impressed with System Imager.
