A strong technologist with diverse 12+ years of hand-on experience in
programming, designing and leading product development with Fortune 500
companies in USA and India. Worked at various levels with large telecom,
datacom and media processing majors such as Cisco Systems, Telcordia
Technologies, Dynamicsoft, Conexant Systems, Intoto, and Ind-Telesoft.

While at Conexant, managed medium-sized teams in architecting and provided
technical guidance that led to successful implementation of the projects in
Satellite set-top box, Home Media Center.

At Intoto, Lead the architecture, design and development of the SIP based
VoIP ATA product from scratch on an Intel's embedded platform. The product
covers various Class 5 features and is used by the end users of the top
Internet Telephony Service Providers in USA.

Worked exclusively on software performance issues for a VoIP server to brin=
g
about the industry's best performance of 1800 calls/sec on a Solaris
box.  Worked
closely with SIP author, Jonathan Rosenberg while developing SIP Proxy
server.

While at Cisco Systems, emerged as the First Engineer to prove
interoperability of IPsec/IKE among Solaris boxes, Linux boxes and Cisco
routers. Designed highly scalable architecture to enable security across
VoIP Servers using Kerberos, IPsec and IKE.

Worked as an individual contributor at Telcordia, to build RTP/RTCP stack
for VoIP Announcement server product that does IVR functionality. Built an
SGCP/MGCP sniffer tool and packet generator for testing their Media Gateway
and Call Agent.

At Ind-Telesoft, worked on H.323 and SS7 protocols and call processing
applications around these protocols.

Very strong in 'C/C++' programming having programmed exclusively in 'C/C++'
over the last 12 years and framed coding guidelines and designed processes
to implement them in the organization.

Trained Engineering graduates on telecom/VoIP related topics in the past fo=
r
more than a year.

A Distinction graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from
Andhra University. Won 2nd prize in the hardware contest conducted in the
college for making a point-to-point intercom. During stint with Cisco,
received Team Achievement award for showing outstanding performance and
writing high-quality software for SIP Proxy Server.
