Subject: [Sip-implementors] What are the differences between a dialog
and session

HI all,

      I want to know the all differences between dialog and
session. Can any body help me by listing all the differences?

[ABN] A session can have multiple dialogs. A dialog can have multiple
transactions.

In simple terms,
{ Session -- voice call
	{{ Dialog_1 -- speak in English for some time...
		{{{ Transaction_1 -- you can speak about the
professional matters... }}}
		{{{ Transaction_2 -- speak something about personal
matters... }}}
	}}
	Dialog_2 -- subscribe for UserB's presence...
	Dialog_3 -- subscribe for UserC's voicemail box status
	....
 }

Thanks&Regrds,
Prasad.BLN
