It is always logical to keep single port for a device and internally we
can keep multiple dialogs for each channel. Otherwise each port has to
separately registered or known to the remote end-point.

Subject: [Sip-implementors] UDP and Source Ports used by Endpoints
Hello,
Is is the industry standard for endpoints to have multiple SIP dialogs
running on one UDP/TCP port or is it better to have one dialog per port
? Are there security/firewall issues that should be considered when
running multiple dialogs on one port ?
Thanks,
Brian.
