As far as I know Irssi allows the user to set the hostname, which would 
then be delivered to the client library.  Also, if machine has multiple 
interfaces there's no guarantee what the library will put there (there's 
no reliable way of checking which one is outgoing interface without 
checking routing table).

You can decide.
