Greetings Fellow Sidewinder Admins,

Although this question is purely a sendmail question not specific to
Sidewinder, I thought I'd try here first as there may be another way to do
this on the Sidewinder. Here's the question:

Can I change the #error line in the below (from sidewinder.1.mc) to forward
or in someway store messages that fail the check instead of bouncing them?
HMessage-Id: $>LocalCheckMessageId

SLocalCheckMessageId
R< $+ @ $+ > $@ OK
R$* $#error $: 553 Message-Id header line format error

I understand why this is done, but we have a few clients (that we know of)
that fail this or one of several header checks performed. The email admin
(not me) would prefer to sort through the messages that fail these checks
instead of finding out second hand. It's his time and decision, not mine.
Once we are fairly confident that of our current clients are working, we'll
set it back to normal.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Mike
