1 - SCSI or IDE architecture?
2 - Minimum requirement is total 8GB hard drive (with fisrt hard drive being
at least 4GB)
3 - Check that your NICs are supported.

Under the hood, Sidewinder is based on BSDi - you have to check that
SecureOS has support for your SCSI, NICs, RAID, etc.. Etc.. Sidewinder
will install on generic Intel hardware, as long as the drivers are in the
OS. There are some known issues with some motherboards (but usually when
using on-board SCSI controllers + NICs)

Re-reading your email, it sounds like you do not have a proper Sidewinder
CD, or the media is damaged in some way. Contact your reseller, or local SCC
office to get an evaluation of the latest version (5.2.1)

Thank you, Matt.

I am using:

Fujitsu hard drive 6.4G
Intel Celeron Processor 466Mhz
248M SDRAM
ATAPI 48X CDROM
AcerLan and RealTek Ethernet Adapters
...

You mean this old version does not support new
hardwares?

Canna
