We added this driver in 5.1.0.01. But remember that PERC-2 is a =
"family" of
controllers. We must know the exact model number/part number to be =
sure we
are talking about the same thing.

We had a problem loading Sidewinder 5 on one of the Perc2/DC family. =
The
Perc2 could not find the block size of the Raid Array. The problem =
turned
out to be a wrong BIOS setting in the Perc2 Raid controller. Changing =
the
Adapter Emulation to "Mass Storage" seemed to solve the problem.

Hi,

does anybody have some experience with that controller and Sidewinder?

Sidewinder 5.2 and 5.1.0.01 doesn't even recognize the card, when =
starting
with Installation-Kernel, though it should be supported since 5.1.0.01.

Thanks in advance,

Christoph
