Hello,

I just installed from scratch Ubuntu 12.10 amd64; I installed the latest 
OS updates, but using the original kernel

3.4.0-5-generic

then I downloaded ike v2.2.0; I resolved the dependencies; I ran cmake 
with the suggested options :

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr -DQTGUI=YES -DETCDIR=/etc -DNATT=YES

then

make

The compilation went through with no error. Then

make install

when I start iked, it just stops; if I enable the debug (log_level 
debug) in  iked.conf, I just get :

in the terminal :

root at power4:/etc/apt# iked -F
ii : created ike socket 0.0.0.0:500
ii : created natt socket 0.0.0.0:4500
## : IKE Daemon, ver 2.2.0
## : Copyright 2013 Shrew Soft Inc.
## : This product linked OpenSSL 1.0.1c 10 May 2012
ii : opened '/var/log/iked.log'
ii : opened '/var/log/ike-decrypt.pcap'

and almost nothing in the log :

root at power4:/etc/apt# cat /var/log/iked.log

and that's all.

in /var/log/ike-decrypt.pcap, there is a short encrypt sting :

Does anybody have an idea ? I am not a developer, but I can help with 
some tests if required.
