experienced Security Practice Director for our Professional Services in
Falls Church, Virginia.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
IntelliDyne L.L.C is promoting the security practice as a core competency
and a main business offering to provide the company solid growth and expand
its future opportunities.
We are seeking an individual with the business ability to implement the
ITDSP framework, targeting new business prospects in the security field
focusing on the DC/VA/MD markets. Another emphasis for the ITDSP is to
integrate existing expertise of the vertical organizations within
IntelliDyne into the defined framework to create a cohesive offering for
both our internal and external customers.
The Director will be responsible for conducting market analysis for products
and service offerings, establishing agreements with key beneficial partners
for the practice. Also will be responsible for hiring highly skilled and
motivated team for the security practice that can deliver the service
offerings and support the company’s growth in this highly competitive area.
The Director is expected to develop a sales and marketing strategy in
coordination with new partnerships to expand IntelliDyne’s reach into new
business markets, based on trend analysis as well as developing the needed
technical and sales expertise.
Specific job goals:
• Implement the framework for IntelliDyne’s Security practice.
• Establish beneficial partnerships with security providers and vendors who
contribute to technologies within the defined framework.
• Developing the expertise in security principles and techniques to focus on
the new business and sales strategies.
• Develop the expertise and partnerships in Security Information Management
• Integrate existing core competencies into Security Framework
• Develop comprehensive security policies and procedures templates for
consulting services.
Minimum Requirements:
This position requires a self-motivated individual with a leadership skills
and outstanding professional and technical capabilities. The main role will
be providing support of the new team, guidance and the vision of the
security practice that will create a successful and profitable organization.
The candidate will:
• Follow our defined framework to identify security services that are
repeatable and marketable in the small/medium-sized business and Enterprise
commercial and federal markets.
• Provide an over all vision for growth and differentiated services for all
areas of IT security.
• Technical Management of the project to include project development,
product and vendor selection, staffing and implementation of new business
strategy.
• Defining repeatable service offerings and creating relevant documentation
and processes
• On going market analysis and product selection
• Customer relations and overall sales strategy
• Partners relationship and strategy
• Project updates for management team
• Maintain expertise in relevant markets and technical certifications.
Skills, Experience and Certifications:
• Strong knowledge of the security market trends and technologies.
• Leadership skills and team work
• Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills
Preferred, but not required:
• Masters degree in engineering or IT related fields
• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
