Hi Vincent,

thank for your post. It is strange because the missing cookie message
means that we did not find generated unique dialog_id.
I will check it.

BR,
Libor

  <br>

I work on SIP Communicator project. I have two peers registered on
iptel.org and _sometimes_ when I launch video session with SIP
Communicator I get a "Error 400 missing cookie". The two peers (Linux
Debian x86-64 and Windows Vista) are in the same network, behind a NAT
with UPnP enabled and both run SIP Communicator latest revision
(trunk). Note that I have similar error when the two peers are not
behind the same NAT (tested with Linux/Mac OS X and Mac OS X/Max OS X).
  <br>
  <br>
In wireshark capture I have done, I notice that there are two versions
of SIP router running on sip.iptel.org, either "Sip EXpress Router
2.1-dev23-make (i386/Linux)" or "SIP router (2.99.99-pre3
(i386/Linux)". It is always the last one (2.99.99-pre3) that send the
"Missing cookie" error.
  <br>
  <br>
So what is the meaning of this message error, why sometimes video call
session fails with this message ?
  <br>
BTY I have not found any occurences of "Missing cookie" in
ser/sip-router source code (git) so cannot investigate and understand
why this message is sent.
  <br>
  <br>
  <br>
Attached to this mail, you can find the SIP Communicator logs and the
wireshark dumps of the SIP exchanges (two video calls succeed and the
last one failed with error 400 "Missing cookie").
  <br>
  <br>
Regards,
